The 2.0 TFSI provides the drive. The four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1984 cubic centimeters combines gasoline direct injection with turbocharging. The maximum torque of 350 Nm is available constantly from 2500 to 4500 rpm, the maximum output of 188 kW / 256 hp is available at 6000 rpm. The power of the 2.0 TFSI is transmitted to the Quattro permanent four-wheel drive via a shiftable six-speed transmission.
The Audi A1 Quattro rolls on cast light-alloy wheels measuring 8.0 J x 18. They have a turbine design in glacier white; the tire size is 225/35. The internally ventilated front brake discs are 312 millimeters in diameter, and black brake calipers take them in their stride. The ESP stabilization system integrates a sport mode and can be switched off completely, for example for a trip to the race track.
The Audi A1 Quattro is available exclusively in glacier white metallic, its roof dome painted in high-gloss black. The bumper is powerfully drawn, and the frame and grille of the single-frame grille are finished in high-gloss black. The curved bars in the headlights – the “wings” – are red. The grille, roof arch and tailgate bear Quattro badges.
There are dark side windows in the rear, and the roof tapers off into a large, two-tone wing. The color black accents the tailgate and diffuser. The LED taillights are darkened, and the bumper wears a distinctive look. The exhaust system has two polished tailpipes on the left and right, each 100 millimeters in diameter.
Nappa leather in the interior of the Audi A1 Quattro
In the interior of the Audi A1 Quattro, the seats and the armrests in the doors are upholstered in silk nappa leather, with red stitching adding contrast. The S sport seats in front have pronounced bolsters, integrated headrests and a backrest cover with Quattro lettering on its rear. Red stitching borders the floor mats, and the door sill trims bear A1 Quattro lettering.
In the instrument panel, the white hands, the red tachometer, the Quattro logo and the color display of the driver information system catch the eye. The multifunction sports leather steering wheel of the Audi A1 Quattro, which is flattened at the bottom – also covered in red stitched leather – bears the car’s serial number, and the knob of the short gearshift lever is made of aluminum. Many of the controls have an aluminum look.
