The Junior 108 K/KH is a tractor built by Porsche-Diesel Motorenbau GmbH, which was based in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance and produced the Porsche Junior 108 K/KH from 1957 to 1961 with a production run of 3,000 units.
The Junior 108 K exhibited in the Eilguthalle is a short version with an improved diesel engine. Using the Porsche Optima combustion process, the Porsche Traktor Junior 108 K / KH succeeded in achieving ten percent better performance at the same engine speed. Like other models of Porsche diesel, the Porsche Junior 108 K / KH received a hydrostop device, which allowed starting, stopping or steering without the driver directly on the tractor and simplified the work. The
Porsche Junior 108 K / KH has a total of 8 gears (6 forward and 2 reverse) and reaches a maximum driving speed of 19.9 km/h. The Junior 108 KH class models received an additional hydro clutch, but otherwise did not differ from the standard model. “Our” Junior is fully operational and, in addition to being exhibited in the express freight hall, continues to be used for transports around the express freight hall.
