The AMG brand from Mercedes-Benz is now celebrating its 130th anniversary with the exclusive special model Mercedes-AMG S 63 4MATIC Cabriolet “Edition 130”. The special model was presented at the North America International Auto Show in Detroit and thus celebrated its world premiere. The AMG S 63 4Matic is characterized above all by its special equipment.

It is based on the Mercedes-AMG S 63 4Matic Cabriolet, which is as exclusive as it is racy. In the sports version, the four-seater luxury cabriolet not only offers the comfort of an S-Class, but also the superior engine and brute sound of an AMG model. The 5.5-liter V8 biturbo produces 585 hp and answers all questions with 900 Newton meters of torque applied from 2,250 rpm.

The Mercedes S-Class Cabrio special edition “130 Years of the Inventor of the Automobile” is limited to 130 units worldwide and is always painted in Alubeam Silver. The Bordeaux red fabric soft top and the 20-inch 10-spoke rims with a matte black finish underscore the exclusive character of the special model, which is by no means a cabriolet by chance: Carl Benz and Gottfried Daimler’s first automobiles were also open-top vehicles. In the interior, Mercedes not only gives the 130 anniversary models badges for the center console and steering wheel, but also a bicolor leather interior. The black elements can be combined with either crystal gray or bengal red.
